The GB48200 is Green Bank's CEC-approved 48V LiFePO4 battery — the one to choose for a grid-connected install claiming the federal battery rebate. 10.24kWh usable, 8,000 cycles, a 10-year warranty, and plug-and-play communication with Deye and 17 other inverter brands. Three to five units on a Deye hybrid is our standard home battery install.

• Expand later — units parallel together; add another GB48200 within the warranty's 10% capacity-difference rule and the bank grows with you. We hold deep stock so your model will be here when you need it.
• Safe chemistry — lithium iron phosphate, no cobalt, with a BMS that protects against over-charge, over-discharge, over-current and temperature. IEC 62619 certified, UN38.3 transport tested.
• Monitor from your phone — the BAT Monitoring app connects over Bluetooth to show state of charge, cell voltages, temperature and alarms, and lets you set the inverter protocol.

Installation notes

The GB48200 is an indoor, wall-mounted unit — garage, shed or plant room — on a concrete or brick wall, away from direct sun and flammable materials, with 300mm clearance each side and 200mm above. Ambient range −10 to 55°C. The warranty requires installation by a skilled person or licensed installer, communication with the inverter, and installation within 6 months of the production date. Bollards and signage to Australian standards are part of every install we do.

Frequently asked questions

Is the GB48200 eligible for the battery rebate?

Yes — it's CEC approved, which is the requirement for the federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program. The rebate is applied on your invoice by an accredited installer and depends on install date and usable capacity (up to 50kWh). See our installed packages and rebate guide.

What does the warranty cover?

The GB48200 carries a 10-year warranty backed by Green Bank Solar in Melbourne. It requires installation by a skilled person or licensed installer, communication with the inverter, and use within the stated temperature range and one full cycle per day. How many can I connect?

Units parallel together on the busbar, all the same model. Our standard grid installs are 3, 4 or 5 units (30–50kWh); larger banks are possible — ask us about your inverter's limit.

Can it go outside?

No — the GB48200 is IP21 and indoor only. For an outdoor-rated battery see the GB48250 (IP65), or we can supply an outdoor enclosure.

GB48200 or GB48300?

Grid-connected and claiming the rebate: GB48200, because it's CEC approved. Off-grid, where the rebate doesn't apply: the GB48300 gives you 15.36kWh for about the same money.
